You wouldn't believe what one of my neighbors threw away—I found a whole bag of LEGO bricks in the trash bin. I couldn't believe my luck! I immediately retrieved the bag and brought it back home before heading to the university canteen for dinner yesterday. Currently, I'm sorting through all the pieces. If I have space in my luggage on my next trip home, I plan to take them to Brazil to add to our family's LEGO collection, which we've been building for many years.
Typically, people play with LEGO for a while, possibly lose some pieces, and eventually discard them when they grow bored. Additionally, if you buy a LEGO set, it's usually for assembling a specific model, and without the assembly instructions, it can be nearly impossible to recreate it. However, in my family's case, we've been building with LEGO for many years—across generations—and our collection is quite extensive. I dare say we have enough pieces to build just about anything. Therefore, I'm excited to incorporate this new set of pieces into our family's LEGO collection, if possible.
