Aesop (c. 620 – 564 BCE) was a Greek storyteller credited with the largest collection of fables, predominantly told via animals, insects and inanimate objects that speak, solve problems and generally portray human characteristics.
Aesop's Fables are the world's best known collection of morality tales. They were originally spoken person to person and were a means of entertainment as well as a means of teaching morals and lessons. There are over 700 fables credited to Aesop, in this series you will find a little over 300 fables of his fables (if you include the sample book). Many of the lessons ring as true today as they did when they were first created.
