1 ►News 1 – Family in Arkansas has 13 children

Terri and Mike Hawthorn are from Arkansas, U.S. They have been married for 36 years. The couple has four children of their own. They have adopted 9 children, becoming a family of 15.

It all started when Terri became a foster parent. In over 5 years, she fostered 80 children. The couple first adopted Korgen and Haizlee. "When we got Korgen, we just absolutely fell in love with him. I knew I wasn't gonna be able to let him go," said Terri. When Korgen's little sister was born, they decided to adopt both children in order to keep them together.

Dawson is 15 years old. He's the oldest of the adopted children. Dawson says he no longer worries about food and can sleep at night
